Distinguished Guests, TFGL&D
Distinguished Members, TFGL&D
Ladies and Gentlemen.

It is with great joy and a profound sense of purpose that I stand before you today on behalf of the President TFGL&D to inaugurate the Free Medical Outreach organized by our dear association, the Tiv Foundation for Good Leadership and Development.

Today marks a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to the health and well-being of our host community.

In the past, the Foundation has paid various advocacy visits to constituted authorities to promote good governance, conducted leadership trainings, visited and donated various items to the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) camps apart from other welfare and humanitarian services rendered.

Today we are conducting this medical outreach because health,as we all know,is the cornerstone of a vibrant society. Without good health, our dreams, aspirations,
and even our very existence are at risk.

It is,therefore, the collective responsibility of TFGL&D to ensure that every individual, regardless of their tribe, religion,or economic status, has access to minimal quality healthcare.

Our initiatives are driven by the core values of compassion, integrity, and service to humanity.

Today’s medical outreach is a testament to these values in action.

For the rest of today, a dedicated team of medical professionals will be providing a wide range of services, including general health check-ups,eye examinations, and maternal and child health services, among others.
Our goal is not only to address immediate health concerns but also to educate and empower this community with the knowledge and resources needed to maintain good health in the long term.

We are deeply grateful to our Partners, the Rachel Eye Centre, and the National Primary Healthcare Development Agency (NPHDA) who have volunteered their time and expertise to make this outreach possible.

Your selfless dedication to the well-being of others is truly inspiring and embodies the spirit of service that we seek to promote through our foundation.

I would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the community leaders, His Royal Highness the Esu Karu and his Chiefs, the sponsors, and members of Tiv Foundation for Good Leadership and Development who have supported this initiative.

Your collaboration and support are crucial to the success of this outreach, and we are honoured to have you as partners in this noble endeavour.

As we embark on this journey together, let us remember that the true measure of any society lies in how it cares for its most vulnerable members. By providing access to essential healthcare services, we are not only alleviating immediate suffering but also laying the foundation for a healthier, more prosperous future for all.

I implore all of us to work together,to build a society where good health and well-being are not privileges for the few, but rights enjoyed by all.

Thank you, and may this outreach be a beacon of hope and healing for all.

Eugene Igbudu
President, TFGL&D
